What are the influencing factors of nano powder particle size test?

Particle size: The size of the particles is called particle size, usually the particle size of spherical particles is expressed by diameter/particle size, and the particle size of cubic particles is expressed by side length. Particle size is the diameter of a particle. However, most of the particles in practice are irregular. Therefore, in order to describe the size of the particles more conveniently, in the actual calculation, the irregular particles are equivalent to regular spheres, and their diameter is used as the particle size of the particles. This is the "equivalent sphere theory".

So, what are the influencing factors of nano powder particle size test? A brief summary of the following five points.

1) The stability of the instrument or method.

Common methods for measuring the size of nanoparticles include electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, laser particle size analysis, sedimentation, and X-ray small angle scattering. Each has its advantages and limitations, and is suitable for specific sample preparation conditions and measurement methods.

2) Whether the sample dispersion is sufficient.

3) Whether the sampling is representative.
