The 4f electronic structure of nano CeO2 is very sensitive to light absorption, and the absorption band is mostly in the ultraviolet region (200-400nm). It has no characteristic absorption of visible light and has good transmittance. 2.Nano cerium oxide improves the thermal stability of polymers

When studying the effect of nano-CeO2 on the thermal stability of methyl vinyl silicone rubber (MVQ), Peng Yalan et al. found that nano-CeO2 can significantly improve the heat-resistant air aging performance of MVQ vulcanizates. When the amount of nano-CeO2 is 2 parts, the other properties of the MVQ vulcanizate will be less affected by ZUi, but its heat resistance performance will be better.

The introduction of nano CeO2 into conductive polymers can improve part of the performance of conductive materials, and has potential application value in the electronics industry. Conductive polymers are used in various electronic devices, such as rechargeable batteries and chemical sensors. Among them, polyaniline is one of the most frequently used conductive polymers. In order to improve its electrical conductivity, magnetic properties and optoelectronic properties and other physical and electrical properties, polyaniline is often compounded with inorganic components to form nanocomposites. Liu F et al. prepared a series of polyaniline/nano-CeO2 composites with different molar ratios through in-situ polymerization and doping with hydrochloric acid. After preparing polyaniline/CeO2 nanocomposite particles with core-shell structure, Chuang F Y et al. found that the conductivity of the composite particles increased with the increase of the molar ratio of polyaniline/CeO2, and the degree of protonation reached about 48.52%. Nano-CeO2 is also good for other conductive polymers. The CeO2/polypyrrole composite prepared by Galembeck A and AlvesO L is used as electronic material.
