Preparation method of nano silicon carbide powder infrared radiation coating

November 11,2019.
Preparation method and introduction of nano silicon carbide powder infrared radiation coating
1.1 Ingredients
Powder radiant mixture: 40 to 80 parts by weight of nano SiC (SiC) powder raw material, and zirconia (ZrO2) powder raw material 5 to 30 based on the weight fraction of (D50 is 40 nm, β phase) nano SiC powder raw material. 5 parts by weight or less of chromium oxide (Cr2O3) powder raw material, 0 to 20 parts by weight of iron oxide (Fe2O3) powder raw material, 0 to 10 parts by weight of nickel oxide (NiO) powder raw material, and 1 to 10 parts by weight of bentonite powder raw material Mixing with 1 to 10 parts by weight of the silica fume powder raw material to prepare a powder radioactive mixture;

The liquid phase mixture is 0.5 to 2:1 by weight of the total weight of the mixture of the water and the above powder, and the binder is 10% to 30% of the total weight of the powdered radiation mixture. The slurry aid is a powdered radiation mixture. 0.1% to 3% of the total weight, the water, the binder and the slurry aid are mixed and formulated into a liquid mixture;

1.2 Homogenization and refinement
The obtained powdered radiant mixture and the liquid phase mixture are all thoroughly mixed together, and the sanding machine (including a high-speed dispersing machine, a horizontal sanding machine, a vertical sanding machine or a rod-type sanding machine) is used. Sanding homogenization treatment; the ball to material ratio is preferably 0.5 to 1:1, and the sanding homogenization treatment time is preferably 2 to 3 hours.
1.3 Filtering
The product obtained by homogenization of the sanding is filtered (preferably filtered using a 325-400 mesh screen), which is based on the natural flow, that is, the nano-silicon carbide powder infrared radiation coating is obtained.
2 Nano silicon carbide powder system for infrared radiation coating construction
Nano-SiC powder is a very convenient method for the construction of infrared radiation coatings. Generally, normal coating construction can be carried out without special modification and maintenance of the substrate. During the construction, the working surface can be cleaned and cleaned with compressed air, and then a layer of pre-spray treatment liquid is sprayed, by mechanical spraying of nano-silicon carbide-based infrared radiation coating.
Use a compressed air or oxygen cylinder for mechanical spraying (working pressure 0.4 to 0.5 MPa). Spray the paint evenly on the work surface with a spray gun. The thickness of the coating is generally 0.1 to 0.3 mm, and it is generally sprayed twice.
After the paint is applied, it usually does not need to be dried. After drying for 24 hours, it can be solidified by sintering at a high temperature with the heating of the oven curve.
3 Performance of nano-silicon carbide powder infrared radiation coating
The nano SiC powder infrared radiation coating has the following advantages compared with the infrared radiation coating prepared by other methods:
a. High normal full emissivity ε, ε is always greater than 0.85 from room temperature to 1400 °C, and decays slowly at high temperatures.
b. Energy saving effect is good, up to 15%.
c. It has good adhesion and can be firmly bonded to the substrate under repeated use conditions from normal temperature to high temperature without cracking or falling off.
d. The structure of the coating is stable and suitable for use in medium and high temperature environments. It is simple in construction, quick in effect, safe and pollution-free, and has a wide range of applications.
