Preparation of Cesium Tungsten Bronze

Cesium tungsten bronze is prepared by citric acid induced hydrothermal synthesis, using citric acid and ethanol as the reducing atmosphere. The carboxyl or hydroxyl in citric acid and ethanol can be oxidized to carbon dioxide or carboxyl at higher temperature and pressure. At the same time, W6+ is reduced to W4+ or W5+, and cesium ions are doped into the tungsten bronze structure to generate CsxWO3.

Application of Cesium Tungsten Bronze:

1. Uniform particle size and high crystallinity;
2. Easy to disperse in polar and non-polar solvents;
3. It has excellent electrical and optical properties, and the blocking rate in the near infrared region is as high as 95% (visible light transmittance is 70%);
4. It has a good absorption effect in the middle and far infrared region (8-10μm);
5. It has good glass thermal insulation performance and is expected to be widely used as smart windows in the field of building and automotive glass thermal insulation.
