Zirconium diboride is an ultra-high temperature ceramic (UHTC) with a melting point of 3246°C. It is stable in the temperature range, has good oxidation resistance in the air, and has the corrosion resistance of molten metal.

Application of ZrB2 Zirconium Diboride:

1. Ultra-high temperature ceramic materials. ZrB2 zirconium diboride powder has high melting point, high hardness and high thermal conductivity, and can be used for ultra-high temperature ceramic materials, such as immersion nozzles for continuous cast steel.

2. Refractory materials. ZRB2-C-ZRO2 refractory products have high corrosion resistance. This performance is much better than ZRO2-C refractory, which has almost twice the service life.

3. Anti-oxidation coating. ZrB2 zirconium diboride powder is stable in a wide temperature range, and the surface with metal coating is also very resistant to oxidation and corrosion in the air.

4. Abrasive and cutting tool materials.
