Gray-black powder with a relative density of 0.3 g/cm3 and a melting point of 2200 °C. Insoluble in water, anti-oxidation, thermal shock resistance, chemical resistance, especially high thermal strength and stability under thermal shock.
Application of Nano silicon boride powder:
1. Nano-silicon boride has high purity, small particle size distribution, high specific surface area.
2. The melting point up to 2230 ℃. It can not be soluble in water and anti –oxidation and high resistance to chemical attack. especially in the high thermal impact and stability;
3. Grinding efficient of silicon boride is higher than that of boron carbide, it can be used as abrasives, grinding and engineering ceramics such as nozzles, gas turbine blades and other different sintering conditions and sealing line.
Storage conditions:
Nano silicon boride powder should be sealed and stored in a dry and cool environment. It should not be exposed to the air for a long time, to prevent agglomeration due to moisture, affecting the dispersion performance and use effect, and should avoid heavy pressure, do not contact with oxidant, and transport according to ordinary goods.
