It is a pink powder that easily absorbs moisture and carbon dioxide. When heated to 1300°C, it transforms into a hexagonal crystal without melting. Slightly soluble in inorganic acid, insoluble in water. The relative density is 8.64.

Application of erbium trioxide powder:

Mainly used as yttrium iron garnet additives and nuclear reactor control materials, also used in the manufacture of special luminous glass and infrared absorbing glass, and also used as a glass colorant. Er2O3 is a stable compound. It is a powder with body-centered cubic and monoclinic structures. The Er2O3 magnetic moment is also larger, 9.5M.B. Other properties and preparation methods are the same as those of lanthanides to make pink glass.

Storage conditions:
