Application of Metallic Boron Powder:
a) Elemental boron rarely exists in its pure form in nature, but in the form of orthoboric acid or borate. It transmits some infrared rays. Although it is a good electrical conductor at high temperatures, the electrical conductivity of boron will greatly decrease at room temperature.
